Day 11: Be still.

Exodus 14:4 "The LORD will fight for you, you need only be still."

     

In this day and age it is obvious to say that our lives are busy and often stressful. By nature I am independent and rarely ask for help or even stop to breathe during the most stressful times. And yet, i can't do it all. It's a misconception that our society places on us. Society says that we have to be it all, do it all, and succeed at all things. But this is not true. Just like God fought for the Israelites when they were stuck between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army He will always fight for you. The verse above from Exodus doesn't say fight WITH you but fight FOR you. He doesn't need our help. God has taken care of it. It'll be alright. You need only be still.
